5 Faves – March 2017

It is the end of another month, which means 5 faves time!
March was a pretty good month. It has really started to feel like spring (as I am writing this I am sitting in my garden enjoying the 18ºC weather), and I pretty much succeeded at my vegetarian month. I only cheated once on my grandpa’s birthday. What can I say, my grandma’s food is just too good to pass up. I also got through my first full month of a school like situation, and now I only have 2 weeks left before I have to know what I want to study! It’s crazy, but I am so happy I got to do this.

The last thing I’ll do this month is getting my left wisdom teeth removed (my right ones got removed in February), so by the time you’re reading this I will be 2 molars lighter and feeling very sorry for myself.

But that was my monthly update, so now let’s get into my favourites!

Shoe Collection 2017 – Summer Shoes

We have gotten to the last part of my shoe collection, my summer shoes. Now, the shoes I tend to wear most in the summer are my Converse, and probably my Adidas this year as well, but a good pair (or two) of flats and some summery sandals cannot be missed, and every girl needs at least one pair of summer heels for those fancy evenings, in my opinion that is. And you can’t forget about flipflops. You just can’t.
So without further ado, let’s take a look at my current summer shoe collection.

5 Faves – February 2017

 

February was a good month. Like, really good. We moved into our new apartment, as you could’ve read in my Just A Chat post a few weeks ago (I promise pictures of the almost finished result are coming soon!), and I started my first school/course like situation in over 4 years and it is actually going really well, although I still have to get used to waking up early and doing my homework. February also makes me very happy because it means it is almost spring time. Goodbye cold, ice and snow! Although with the Dutch weather you never know if it might not just come back in March to annoy us a little more…
Anyways, that was my February recap, now let’s get into my 5 Faves!

A Collective Haul

 

Sooo…. I did a bit of shopping over the past 2 months. And I thought I’d just share it with you, because why not? It’s a little bit of fashion, a little bit of beauty, a few books and a couple of dvd’s. Some things I actually needed and some things I just wanted, some things I have already used and some I haven’t. And I am going to tell you all about it, right here, right now.

What’s In My Makeup Bag 2017

This week I thought I would share what’s in my makeup bag. I haven’t had an actual apartment in the last two months, so most of my stuff is packed up in boxes. I had to narrow my makeup down to what I actually might want to use on a daily basis when I packed up our old apartment, and put the rest of my collection away. So what I am showing you today is everything that I had to work with over the past few months, I know, it’s scary. But I have to say, it worked quite well, I didn’t feel like I was missing something (except for maybe my beloved Urban Decay Naked Basics palette every once in a while), and it actually made my makeup routine a bit easier in the mornings because I didn’t have a lot to choose from. Still, I can’t wait to get all my stuff back and have all my lipsticks and eyeshadow palettes again.

Anyways, enough rambling on, let’s dive into my makeup bag.

A Mini Makeup Haul

Look at me, not even a week into this blogging thing and I am already steering away from my “one post a week on Friday” schedule by writing a bonus post. My reason for this bonus post is that I went on a little makeup shopping spree.
